The latest experiment is to try and get some good airborne film footage in MPEG format. Trying to get a good shot is challenging but the learning process is enjoyable. To make these useable on the web, I'm trying to keep the file sizes down to just a few MB each which, sadly, impacts the quality a little.

First attempt 2.5MB This is the first movie. The main lesson learned here is that the Citabria we used doesn't make a good photo plane. That high wing and all those struts keep getting in the way!
Post repairs flight 1.7MB This is a short video of my first flight in Red Bug after nearly two years worth of repairs.
Rollin', rollin', rollin'... 1.1MB A couple of rolls and inverted flight, from the cockpit.
Ride along with Martin 3.6MB From the cockpit again. A short sequence thrown together for the camera. An interesting lesson in the difficulty of doing quality video editing... which this is not!
